We started off for Suntec City Singapore by entering the underground shopping mall which stretches from raffles city for about a kilometre underground. After passing endless expensive stores and junk food restaurants we emerged at Suntec City, a huge complex of 5 high rise towers, a shopping mall and a convention centre.
Unfortunately the shopping mall is less than impressive although there is a small bonsai garden worth peeking at.
Situated between the towers is a massive fountain designed by a feng shui guru and all manner of good luck is promised if one walks around it so many times for so many days. We didn't bother with this ritual but what is well worth seeing in the nightly 8pm laser light show which you can see free.
There was nowhere cheap to eat at Suntec so it was expensive coffee and cake at Starbucks.
