Singapore Botanical Gardens and Orchid Garden

The Singapore Botanical Gardens and Orchid Garden is a beautiful and rare example of nature in Singapore. OK so it is steaming hot and it rained on and off while we where there, but there is a great collection of palms and orchards around the lake.

Entrance is free and there is a pleasant outdoor coffee shop which has bathrooms that are so clean and well decorated they would not be out of place in a 5 star hotel!

Entrance to the orchard Garden costs S$5 but is well worth the money. The most amazing collection of orchids and tropical plants awaits you and photographers will love this place.

This is one place where you can see what Singapore's jungles may once have looked like so brave the humidity and take a look.
