Clarke Quay Singapore

Singapore's Clarke Quay area was once run down docklands and shophouses but today has been converted into a multi colored shopping area / dining spot. It all looks glitzy and there is some innovative street art and lots of shade provided by giant overhead shades.

No bargains, however, and once we had looked about and taken a few photos we were off - this place is pure eye candy but there isnt a great deal to to do.

The one redeeming feature is the Singapore branch of "Hooters" restaurant, staffed by buxom young wenches all suitably stacked. Now this place is worth a visit.

Clarke Quay is good for a quick look around then perhaps hop on a bumboat and head off down the river instead.
