Word was that there were lots of software and DVD pirates operating out of two shopping centres in the Bukit Bintang Area of KL so we went to take a look, purely for research purposes.
An hour later we had searched BB Plaza and Sungei Wang Plaza (two medium sized, adjacent malls with lots of electronics on sale) up and down and not a single dodgy disc in sight. The long arm of the law had apparantly struck and the pirates are no more.
Thats great for Bill Gates and Hollywood but it kind of takes the spice and fun out of these shopping centres. Rest assured the pirates haven't gone, they have just moved on elsewhere.
