It was a miserable grey KL morning and sightseeing wasn't on the agenda so we hit the monorail and found ourselves in KL's Little India district. Lots of seedy old buildings and not so many skyscrapers and tourists so this is a pleasant area to explore.
There are some great stalls around here selling Indian snacks and meals at low, low prices, and if you are in the market for a sari this is the place for you. It is also the best place in town to find competitively priced moneychangers, we got RM2.80 for 1 Australian Dollar compared to as low as RM2.70 elsewhere in town.
So we spent the profits on a nice hot curry lunch for four washed down with fresh iced lime juice. Just the thing to counteract the weather.
